These are the best deals out there for your Cash for Clunkers trade in...bar none!  I have looked all over the country trying to find the best deals for my clunker and here they are.  Don't forget to save at the pumps with the best credit card for that.

UPDATE JULY 23:  Chrysler hits home run in the marketing department with a matching $4,500 cash back in addition to your $4,500 from the cash for clunkers program ( C.A.R.S. Car Allowance Rebate System) giving you the possibility of walking out of the Chrysler showroom with a brand new car for $9,000 off the price.  Are you serious!!!  Look below to see the deals I found for this...I put them below the 5th ones just because it was the easiest way for me to go.

1. The cheapest by far is the Nissan Versa:  It gets 34 MPG highway and it is only $8,700 before taxes and tags.  With the clunker trade in of $,4500...you get this car for $4,200 with full warranty and a 72 month loan at 4.99% or better making payments around...$59 a month for 72 payments for a brand new car AND you get great MPH making it even better.  Note that this is without AC but you can get one with it if you want for a little more.    Bookmark us before clicking on the following links.  Check it out here.

2.  I would have to say that Pontaic going out of business is the best thing that could happen for someone looking to get a great deal on a car.  Due to concern about there not being a company, sales have dropped forcing prices down.  These cars are fantastic in ratings thus making it like stealing for us to buy them.  The Pontiac G6 with AC and cd player is retail priced at $20,295 but after cash back discounts, you can get it at $15,113 AND THEN take off the $4,500 for the clunker and the car is yours at $10,613!!!  A brand new car for payments of only $150 per month for 72 months and you get the warranty guaranteeing the car!  I prefer this car because it is bigger and has AC!  Bookmark us before clicking the link so you can come back here to see the other deals.  Click here to see this deal.

3.  The Pontiac Vibe is in the same situation as the G6.  You are able to pick this up at $13,017 with AC and then take off the $4,500 and you are left with $8,517 to pay over 72 months at 4.99 %.  The payment is around $120 - $125.  And the gas mileage is outstanding.  Here is the link.

4. The Ford Focus is another nice buy.  This one has cruise control, power windows, SYNC (which is sweet!), CD player, and the all important air conditioning.  After the $4,500, you can take this brand new vehicle home for $10,999 or payments of around $155 for 72 months.  A little more than the others, but you get a bigger car and more options.  Click here to see.

5.  I am throwing this one in for all the Mustang fans like myself.  The new 6 cylinders get 22 combined MPG meaning that you need a vehicle that gets 18 or less MPG, which all the old GTs get.  You could trade in that old GT and get a new 2009 Mustang Coupe Premium for $15,499 after the clunker deal of $3,500. (Can't get $4,500 unless the car before only gets 12 MPG)  This is a 4.0 liter V6 with leather options, 18 alloy wheels, shaker audio system, sirius, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning.  Your payments would be around $222 a month for 72 payments.  That is a great deal for the chance to own a brand new Mustang!  Click here to see this deal.

6.  Chrysler PT Cruiser:  This is a very sweet deal.  You are going to walk our with a brand new PT Cruiser for only $9,700 after the cash back and cash for clunkers money.  It gets 23 MPH but trading in a van or truck will net you $4,500 and a car will get you $3,500.

7.  2009 Dodge Caliber:  This car will give you $3500 from Dodge and a possible $4500 from the cash for clunkers program leaving you with a $9000 bill.  The payments over 72 months would only be around $125-$135 a month depending on your interest rate.  (Go to a credit union!!! They usually have 4% loans for new cars)
