FREE MONEY!!!  This is a great country when you can get hundreds of dollars for free!  To make a long story short, banks and other financial institutions are clamoring to get at your money.  These banks make tons of loans and earn so much cash of these loans that they can afford to give away thousands of dollars in order to get new clients.  They hope these new clients will end up getting more loans from them or some mortgages in order to continue this circle.  So their thought is that if they pay you to use their banks and other businesses for a little bit of time, you will stay a customer forever.  I fully believe that we should take advantage of these deals and then go to our regular local bank with their money or just spend it on a frivolous day out.  Either way, we win!

2.  Chase Bank  is another one of those banks that have so much cash that they are going to just plain out buy your business.  I am not going to stop them either.  I need the $100!  This deal is similar to the other banks.  You get $100 for opening a new account.  The following is the details:

4.  TCF Bank:  http://www.tcfbank.com/PersonalBanking/pb_checking_free_cash_50.jsp They give you $50 for signing up.  There are some little details you need to check up on though.  Certain people, depending where you live, only need to put up $25 while others need to pony up $100.  Either way, it still is a great deal. They note this to be a limited time offer so go get that 200% return.

 

5.  Bank of America:  They are on the ball this month.  They took their offer of $50 and now made it $75 just to sign up and make a direct deposit.

6.  Amazon Rewards Card:  This is one of many cards that offer a nice payday for making a purchase.  They give you $30 for that one little purchase.  I always suggest a pack of Wrigley's gum or a nice gallon of gas.  Use it once and then put the card away and never use it again.  Don't close the account, that actually hurts your credit score.  Leaving it open increases your average length of account and thus takes your score up the longer it is not closed.  http://www.amazon.com/gp/cobrandcard/marketing.html

7.  PNC Bank:  Free $75 for a direct deposit of $400 by October 31, 2009.  Too easy for 75 bucks.  The following is the rules of the deal directly from PNC:
