LUNG DISEASE: If you have a loved one afflicted with this disease, you must read this page!

This page is dedicated to my friends and family who have died of lung cancer and those afflicted with the different forms of mesothlioma.  I have had to watch many people close to me perish due to these awful diseases.  Most smoked cigarettes all their lives while others had other circumstances.   I know they have worked in old factories with horrible conditions and fought wars in countries with untold chemicals being used on the jungles and on the people.  You should not have to pay for getting treatments due to these conditions.  My hope is that you will read this and take action so your family isn't burdened with untold medical bills that is direct result of corporate greed.

I know many of us work in old buildings that are riddled with asbestos that was suppose to be cleaned up by now.  I remember being in elementary school when these workers came in and took out the asbestos in the gym.  It looked like it was snowing, but it was just asbestos.  If you are unlucky enough to breath this asbestos stuff in, it can cause mesothelioma.  There are four types of Mesothelioma that I am aware of.  Malignant mesothelioma, pleural mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma, and pericardial mesothelioma.  These varieties all affect the cell wall linings of vital organs including the abdominal, heart, and lungs.  The one thing you need to know about these diseases is that they can only come from inhaling asbestos at some time in your life.

You always think to yourself that when someone gets lung cancer of any form that it has to be from smoking.  Well they are finding out that there are numerous ways to get cancer and breathing in asbestos is another method.  If you find that you or a loved one is afflicted with any of these types of cancer, you may have a right to seek financial compensation from those responsible for you breathing in asbestos.  We no longer live in a country where corporations can invent products that are dangerous to the average person.  They can't sell products that cause these kind of diseases and then walk away acting like they didn't know.  They are now held responsible, much like the tobacco industry is.  If you suspect that someone has or is afflicted with any of these diseases, I suggest you seek some legal consultation.  Most lawyers give you a free meeting to talk about the situation and to find out if they can help you and the person involved.  This is not another "sue everyone" case.  These companies created a product that is inherently dangerous by giving mesothelioma to people and they need to make things right.  You can't just say that we didn't know that asbestos was bad for you.

You will see people talking about mesothelioma alot in the near future because those who were around the asbestos are now starting to get different forms of the mesothelioma.  The best thing you can do if you believe you know someone who may have mesothelioma is too have a doctor confirm it and seek counsel right away in order to preserve your rights.

My own dad has survived two rounds of cancer and has emphysema so bad that he has trouble walking any amount of distance without losing his breath.  These companies need to pay for these deadly products that they are pushing onto the unknowing public.  It is our right and duty to make sure they pay.

I have included some powerful movies below explaining mesothelioma and the symptoms and treatments.  Beware though, they are very moving.
